This policy describes the ways Química Wine Company, LLC (QWC) collects, stores, uses and protects the personal information of QWC customers and other users accessing or using any part of the QWC website and any other digital services operated or used by QWC from time to time (collectively referred to as the "Site"). You accept this Privacy Policy when you view or login to the Site and/or use any services or other features, technologies or functionalities offered by QWC. QWC may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version on our Site. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
HOW WE PROTECT AND STORE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Throughout this policy, we use the term “personal information” to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person.
QWC uses reasonable, appropriate, and customary procedures and technologies to help protect the confidentiality of any Personal Information collected through the Site and has security measures in place that seek to mitigate risk. However, no website can be absolutely protected against intentional or malicious intrusion attempts despite our precautions. Furthermore, QWC does not control the devices, computer or network through which you access the Site or over which you may choose to send personal information to the Site and therefore cannot prevent potential interceptions or compromises to your information while in transit to the Site. QWC makes no guarantee as to the security, integrity or confidentiality of any information transmitted to or from the Site. QWC is committed to safeguarding your information to the best of its ability but cannot guarantee the security of electronic communications or transmissions made over the Internet.
We store your information on our local servers and systems maintained by our third-party cloud-based data hosting providers. We protect your personal information by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable United States federal and state regulations. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities. Only authorized employees, agents, and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. We do not transfer your information to locations outside of the United States. This information may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, law enforcement officials and national security authorities in the United States according to its laws. Subject to the applicable laws, we will use reasonable efforts to ensure that appropriate protections are in place to maintain protections on the personal information.
If we opt to transfer your information to a location outside of the United States, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
QWC may retain your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to provide our services to you, comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your information in accordance with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies. We will also retain Site usage data for internal analysis purposes. Site usage data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our services, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
Access to the Shop is through Vinoshipper. Vinishipper accounts and orders are protected by password. We recommend that you not divulge your passwords to anyone.

The personal information collected from you through the Site may include the following when provided by you via the Shop, register for an event, or sign up to receive communications from us:

Tracking and Cookies Data
Session Cookies: When you visit the Site, session cookies are maintained in your computer's temporary memory. These disappear when your session is over and you close your browser. Server Log information: When you visit this Site, QWC collects information sent to us by your computer, mobile phone or other access device. This information may include your IP address, device information including but not limited to identifier, name and type, operating system, location, mobile network information and standard web log information, such as your browser type, traffic to and from our site and the pages you accessed on our website. Your IP address is automatically collected in server logs. We use this information to help diagnose problems with our server, to analyze server traffic to learn which pages on the Site receive more or fewer visitors, for marketing purposes, and for fraud prevention purposes. This information is anonymous and cannot be traced back to a specific individual. The server log also can tell us which browser you are using and the name of the Site that referred you to our site.

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient experience and to ensure that we are providing the information our customers and potential customers need. TEXT MESSAGING PRIVACY
This section specifically describes our privacy practices in connection with your use of our SMS messaging program (the "Platform"). In the event of any conflict between this section of the Privacy Policy and any other Company Privacy Policy in relation to the subject matter provided herein, the Text Messaging Privacy Policy shall take precedent. We do not sell, rent, or share your name, mobile telephone number, or other personal information, including your mobile opt-in information, with third-parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Under no circumstances will we buy, purchase, lease or otherwise use your name or mobile telephone number collected by third parties. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number or short code that sent you the message. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You will receive messages with info, promotions, and offers to the number(s) you have provided, including use of an automated system. Message frequency varies. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. EMAIL PRIVACY AND CUSTOMER/MEMBER CONTACT INFORMATION
From time to time, the QWC sends broadcast email to subscribers, customers, and members. We may use pixel tags to track the success of emails sent to users, but we do not share that information with third parties. Recipients of broadcast email communications from QWC to subscribers do have the ability to opt out of such communication. Email communications sent from QWC to customers and members do not have the ability to opt out as those communications are required by the terms of your engagement with us.
LINKED SITES
The Site contains links to other external websites (“Linked Sites”) that we believe may be useful to QWC customers, members, and the public. QWC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these Linked Sites. Please see QWC Website Terms and Conditions for more information.
THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
QWC may use third-party service providers to help us analyze certain online activities, measure the performance of the QWC Site, and monitor the effectiveness of email communications. For example, these service providers may help us analyze visitor activity on the QWC Site or provide feedback on the effectiveness of our email communications. We may use a third-party service provider to help us efficiently send email communications to QWC customers, members, and subscribers. Aside from email addresses, we do not share any personal information about customers, members, or subscribers with third-party service providers. Our third-party service providers are prohibited from sharing, selling or renting member email addresses.
CHILDREN
The intended audience of our Site is adults over the age of 21. QWC does not knowingly solicit data online from or market online to any person under the age of 21. In certain circumstances, a minor could contact QWC via the Site or other means.
If you are under 21 years of age, do not attempt to register for or use any of our services, including our Site, do not provide us any personal information about yourself unless you have the requisite parental consent.
