Update: We got engaged!

We got engaged! It was Candice’s birthday weekend, and we drove to our favorite small-town Mexican restaurant, Rio Distinctive Mexican Cuisine in Madras, Oregon. While we were there, we shopped at some of the thrift stores. We stumbled into a pawn shop, where we spotted a ruby ring Candice wanted. The next night, at a party with 100 or so of our friends, Steve traumatized Candice by proposing to her in front of everyone! She said yes. 💖
